We have decided to take a detour and will make landfall in Flores in lieu of Horta. We don’t know anything about the island beyond what we can garner from our charts. What we do know is that it is 100 miles west of Horta which means that we will be there TOMORROW!!! Whooo hooo.
Things that I’m looking forward to once we reach land: A long run, an even longer shower, and a nice meal (that includes lots of fresh veggies) OFF the boat.
This will be my last post before we arrive on land. I’ll let you know how it feels to have finally crossed the Atlantic once it’s official, but right now, at 2AM, I’m feeling downright giddy.
